16/12 today, following up his second 20/20 game as a Sonic against the Wizards, and 26/9 the game before. He's also had patches where he has been woeful, not making any real impact on the scoreboard or the glass. Over the season he's putting up 13/8, which is respectable and probably just under what we're paying him value wise, yet it's not a consistent 13/8. It's 20/12 one night, and 6/4 the next. He's shown he is capable but lazy - the question is, what does he need to do to become that consistent 17/9 a night guy that he is certainly capable of? Does playing next to Collison as opposed to Swift help or hinder his production?

A post repertoire that consist of more than just a jump hook off of his left shoulder and a consistent mid range jump shot - none of which he has right now. He also needs to do a better job on the offensive glass to get to 9 boards a game. Playing next to Swift and Collison will help his production if Petro is not in the front line rotation and if Ray Allen begins to share the wealth. Ray hurts Weezy as much as anyone b/c he rarely looks for him and it is difficult for him to get offensive put backs when our misses end up outside of the paint. Weezy has a tremendous amount of upside but he doesn't have the mental toughness to reach it. If he can turn into a 15 and 9 guy for the Supes we have gotten what we should have expected out of him.
I think Wilcox is the kind of guy who could put up big numbers if he was on a winning team, but rarely finds the motivation to try his hardest on a losing one. He doesn't have the skill to rack up the points and rebounds unless he's going full bore.
