PG: Miller (38 minutes), Roy (10 minutes) SG: Matthews (35 minutes), Roy (5 minutes), Fernandez (8 minutes) SF: Wallace (20 minutes), Batum (20 minutes), Fernandez (8 minutes) PF: Aldridge (30 minutes), Wallace (18 minutes) C: Camby (38 minutes), Aldridge (10 minutes) Minutes from most to least: 40: Aldridge 38: Miller, Wallace, Camby 35: Matthews 20: Batum 16: Fernandez 15: Roy It's just an 8-man rotation. Would it work?
I think Camby should be playing 30 minutes a night tops. He is 35 and our only center. Give those extra 8 minutes to Batum and I'm liking it.
IMHO, you have the numbers skewed toward the extremes. I don't think Roy's sticking at 15 mpg (more like 20), and I don't think LMA will stay up in the 40mpg range (more like 36). In order, I might say 36-38 (LMA and Wallace), 30 (Camby and Matthews), 28 (Batum and Miller), 20 (Roy and Rudy) with 8 mpg for "other"
I'd like to see something like: Miller (30), Roy (18) Matthews (35), Rudy (13) Wallace (10), Batum (38) Aldridge (28), Wallace (20) Camby (30), Aldridge (10), Wallace (8) 38: LMA, Crash, Batum 35: Wes 30: Camby, Miller 18: Roy 13: Rudy Unless we sign a big guy, Crash is gonna be playing a lot of PF and even some C. Nate can decide who gets more minutes between Roy/Rudy/Nico/Miller depending on match ups and who is hot.
I think we are likely to see something close to what Brian and hoojacks suggest. On the other hand, maybe the Blazers will be SO dominant with Crash now, that the starters only play in the first 3 quarters.
I'd be more partial to: Miller (30), Roy (18) Matthews (22), Rudy (20), Roy (6) Wallace (5), Batum (30), Matthews (13) Aldridge (18), Wallace (30) Camby (30), Aldridge (18) 36: LMA, 35: Crash, Wes 30: Camby, Batum, Miller 24: Roy 20: Rudy
I bet that's pretty close to our playoff rotation, assuming guys are healthy. Miller might get more minutes if Rudy can't hit his threes.
