The Good: Oden is the obvious number one choice here with his big improvement, Miller has his concerns but if he can mesh more with Roy he will be a good addition, Juwan Howard is a pleasant surprise as he can still play solidly besides being a classic good locker room vet. Bayless "maybe" if his recent play is for real. Bad (make it "concerns" instead): Roy's poor preseason, I am for now going to write it off to a summer of no Bball and learning to play with Miller. Our SF scoring is so far weak, Webs has been inconsistent and Batum seems the same - hopefully that improves as the season progresses. Blakes sub par play, I think he snaps out of it as it probably is due to the Miller "pressure". Nate's coaching and decisions about the starting lineup IMO have to be included here as a "concern". The UGLY: Only one standout choice here and that is Outlaw, he could be playing himself out of his usual rotation minutes and maybe eventually off the team.
Touche! Yep, "hoping" to see that improve and batum get a bit more offensive - why I listed it as a concern.
This block reminded me of that one by Prince on Reggie Miller in play-offs a few years ago. http://www.nba.com/video/games/blazers/2009/10/18/0010900082_den_por_recap.nba/
