The new show will detail Denton’s adventures with ring icons such as Ric Flair, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and his long-time friend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. “I’ve been stabbed, shot at and even survived a drinking contest with Andre the Giant,” Denton says. “Somehow, I’m still alive to tell my story and the fans are going to love it.” He was the longest reigning heavyweight champion in several legendary promotions, including Portland Wrestling and Mid-South Wrestling, where he defeated top stars like Andre the Giant, Dusty Rhodes and the Junkyard Dog. In July 2014, he released his autobiography “Grappler: Memoirs of a Masked Madman”. Denton’s book earned rave reviews and a 5-star rating on Amazon.com, where it was the #1 selling pro wrestling title for the summer of 2014. Len Denton will take fans inside the rough and tumble world of “bear hugs” and “body slams” in “The Grappler: Unmasked and Uncensored” Denton’s performance will be followed by a fan-interactive Q & A session.
