This organization is one that seems like it is in constant turmoil. Last season they were incredibly bad as Shareef Abdur-Rahim was one of their best players and their offense looked like something out of a 7th grade CYO league. Their players seem like they are constantly unhappy and they just can't get anyone to help out their team. Last night it was announced that arguably their best player, Zach Randolph, was suspended for missing a photo shoot before one of their games. The day before Darius Miles was basically sent home from the team for changing into street clothes during one of their games a week ago. Earlier this year, one of their most promising young talents, Sebastian Telfair was arrested on gun charges. This team can't stay away from trouble. Last year it was Qyntel Woods with the animal cruelty charges and a few years before that it was Shawn Kemp and his cocaine problems, Damon Stoudamire tokin up before practice and the same with Sheed. I would love to hear some suggestions on what this team should do to stay out of trouble, because CLEARLY they don't know how to do it themsevles.

Ridding themselves of Miles, Z-Bo has stayed out of trouble for the most part. The Telfair incident wasn't bad.Their fine really with the guys they've assembled for now, except Miles.

Release all their players, change their name, move to another city, and sign free agents with known good reputation. [IMG]

Mavsfan...this isnt the NHL. Imo the Jail Blazers era is over, only one left is Miles. I doubt Sueng-Jin, Przybilla, Khryapa and Steve Blake are much trouble makers in the drug world

Honestly, how is the Jail Blazers era over? Two of their "best" players were sent home because of bad conduct and one of their players was involved in a gun charge. The past 10 years there has been some curse in Portland with this team, it's pathetic. I don't know how people pay money to go see them when a player like Miles changes into street clothes during one of their games.

i'm really wondering...they already did a lot to change their image. they traded Sheed, Bonzi Wells, Damon Stoudamire, Patterson, the whole original cast, but have still managed to have playes in more trouble than is average. I wonder if the players are compensating for where they live. I've lived in Portland, and it's probably one of the least 'gangsta' cities in the whole damn country. I've run into some trouble in NE Portland, but it's really nothing worth mentioning. You'd expect the Knicks, the Pistons, maybe the Hawks to boast the roughest team off-court.I wonder if they're getting into trouble cause there isn't sh*t going on up there if you're not interested in hanging out at Lloyd Center or going to Depoe bay on weekends, or Snowboarding on Mount Hood (trying to picture Darius Miles snowboarding right now)
