Wow, I saw this guy vs. the Raptors and I was very, veri impressed. He may be a bit undersized, but he is a great rebounder. He plays hard on defense, blocks shots, goes after loose balls, hustles his ass off. He is also a great post player on offense, and proved to be pretty much unstoppable with the ball int he post. I think he could be a very good player for the Jazz. Wasnt he picked like 47th last year? What a steal! He's averaging 8 and 5 so far in 17 minutes of play..
This is another kid I loved in college. I knew he'd be a good player, and a steal for whoever got him. He can contribute right away with his rebounding, and his defense. He's also got some offensive skills. I like the kid alot, I hope he can turn into a good NBA player!
Last year, I considered Millsap the best rebounder in the NCAA. He is extremely tough, can get the job done down low on both ends, and his rebounding is beautiful to watch. He is more than just a leaping rebounder, he is a position rebounder as well, and I like that. He actually boxes out and muscles his way to the ball, unlike a lot of guys that just jump high to get them. His offensive production has impressed me the most though, I didn't think he would be able to do that much offensively in the NBA. Millsap was a steal.
Milsap was definatly a steal for the Jazz. I hope he an AK can co-exist together on the court, because that means the Jazz D will be awesome.

Bottom line, the guys going to get every rebound and work his ass off every play. This could give him consistant minutes with a coach like Jerry Sloan. I was unsure of how he would translate to the NBA because honestly, nobody saw him at Louisiana Tech. Every great college player now days is thought of as a great second round steal...he's convinced me so far.
Players have always been picked too often by potential rather than actual things they've proved. Misalap led the NCAA in rebounding. But he was picked 47th. Does that make any sense? Time to draft players that have proven something.
