what is going on with the media and the way they cover the Pats. I mean there should be great stories about Troy Brown and how he is play both sides of the ball well. these guys are the super bowl champs and you have to wait to see anything about them and when they do mention them it's only for a few moments and they don't say anything about how great they really are. it amazes me how every person that has some sort of football talk show doesn't talk nearly enough about the pats, instead you will hear week after week about a bunch of players that are good, but most of them aren't even going to be in the play offs. i mean come on.... what is really up with that? can anyone explain it to me.... where is the coverage they deserve. sorry i just felt i needed to rant a little bit.

I guess four Sports Illustrated covers in the past year isn't enough?

Troy Brown and the Patriots are a favorite subject every Sunday on Sunday NFL Countdown, too.

Of all the teams that can complain about not getting press (Bengals, Panthers, Chargers come to mind), I don't think the Pats are one of them.

No offense. I really do like the Pats and Tom Brady. What Troy Brown is doing this year is amazing. And I'm glad that Corey Dillon finally gets to be part of a winner.

    Teams getting the most press:

    1. Philadelphia (running away with the NFC)
    2. Indianapolis (Marino's Record)
    3. Green Bay (Favre & their sporadic play)
    4. Pittsburgh (Rookie Phenom)
    5. New England
    6. San Diego
    7. Atlanta (Mike Vick ego stroking)

I think that attlanta and san diego are getting more press than New England. It just drives me crazy when i watch NFL primetime or sportscenter and you will see the whole game of other teams and when it comes to new england they will say a little bit about them and then move on. how many superbowls do they need to win to get some respect?

I certainly think that they are getting a ton of respect.

You have to remember, though, NE is not a flashy team. Philly has TO who provides highlights, Indianapolis has Manning and his incredible TD pace, and Green Bay has Brett Favre.

NE is a classy team, but not flashy. As a result, you aren't going to get as much coverage as a Mike Vick or TO.

everyone knows the Pats are good there is no need for the media to cover them because for he last 2 years they've been doing that they would just be repeating themselves no one needs to know the Pats are good they already do know
