...would be to steal away Phoenix's trainers. And I'm not kidding. Leave our roster exactly as is, no need for a GM because no trades, but get the people who resurrected Shaq and Grant Hill (by their own admissions). It would cost way less than a Drew Gooden and would be ten times more important, especially for this cursed franchise.
Should have done that before terminating KP. Just imagine if we could trade KP for the PHX trainers... now that would have been a worthwhile transaction...
I totally agree. If Paul Allen is willing to dump a big chunk of change to move up 10 spots in the draft, you'd think that money wouldn't be the issue. Unfortunately, I see no signs of anything but the Blazers organization being content with the current training staff.
I believe it. And we could use some of their good weather that makes you want to go out and train. No doubt our success is riding on G.O., and we all know what that means
Either PHX's trainers, or getting Tim Grover to consult with the team for a year. He completely rejuvenated guys like DWade, Arenas, and our own Juwan Howard. I still can't understand why our management didn't send GO to Chicago to work with him this summer.
We should go all out. Let's get Jay Jensen to great them at the airport sheepishly holding a 'Welcome to Portland' sign.
This is why I want the guy from the Suns for our GM, he will do for are trainers what KP did for our scouting.
