Should it be allowed on TV? People have been speaking out against it, yet I've been hearing it uncensored all over TV. When'd they uncensor it? I think they need to re-censor it... :/
I think only 3 people should be aloud to say it :Chris Rock, Dave Chappel and Charlie MurphyOr else, it should be censored.
Why? If the word is not being used in a racist way, and only in people talking to eachother and using the word in the same way some people use the word 'dude' or 'foo' I don't see a problem with it.

Evil or dirty language comes from your heart, not the dictionary.
I think there are inappropriate and appropriate ways to use it. Most of the occurances on television are fairly meaningful.
Nigga- The N WordI dont think it should be used in tv. It sucks to see young black kids sayin this word at like 3 and 4, due to parents exposing them to television. I am not saying television is the problem, its also the surroundings and people the kids interact with that use the word. Television is 1 of the problems. The kid still knows what he/she said even if censored. Just to contradict, I believe a comedian can say the word. It just makes their act funnier sometimes. I could careless what anyone thinks comedy makes me feel better especially if they go all out.Growing up in my surroundings I say the word, But I know how to control my usage of the word especially in business situations or around a certain group of people and kids in general. When I'm around my people, its a different story. But I still try not to use it much, so they wont do the same. Some people overuse this word cause they dont know what else to say or how to generate the proper words needed to get their point across. It's pretty pathetic when u see people talk like this in real life. High school/junior hs kids are good examples. Not all of them but there are good examples in this age group. If u get a chance to listen to them over here where I am at.Hearing this middle eastern guy overuse the word in best buy really piss me off for about a second but I recognize his surroundings. He was a weak one.Seeing a boy call his mom a nigga aint cool.If you don't know a persons name hey just use the word nigga. A lot of people do it.I use it a joke Most of the time. I cant help it if it slips out tho, like that lady on deuce bigalow, I forgot what the syndrome is but whatever. The use of this N word will not decrease. it's just that simple. Now the N word Nigger I joke around all the time whenever I use it which is not much. But there aint much else I feel like discuss about this word.I thought of this game very interesting. It's a fun game I play a lot. While typing this I thought about it and why its called the N-Game... If you play it and notice what you do in the game..... lol anyway here is the games link. The N-GameIf I said something stupid I'll check later I just flow typed.
I don't think words on TV should be censored...because everybody knows what your saying anyway. I don't see why people need to say nigger on TV anyway but whatever...I could really care less.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I don't see why people need to say nigger on TV anyway</div>Black sitcoms need it. :happy0144: As for word censoring, I think there should be some limitations on TV, although it sucks when you watch a movie and they have a weak ass voiceover. Bulletproof on USA is a riot. I can't imagine what The Sopranos is like on A&E. But I do see why they are censored, because it's basic cable. What I want to know is why we have censoring on this site?

That would just be terrible. It is a word that shouldn't realyl be used at all, but for blacks it is not being racist so it isn't as terrible when they say it. Like I said, it should only be shown on TV shows for adults.
I think as a white person I have no say in how the word should be used...and neither should any other white people...and we shouldn't use it..everHonestly, I don't see a need for it..and I don't understand why people use it when it's totally unneccesary 98% of the time..some people just say it to be part of something...kind of like some people just smoke weed to be part of somethingI think one of the only times it is allowed to be used is in books when educating/teaching people on racism..to introduce the ignorance and arrogance of peopleI agree with whoever said though that TV shouldn't censor any words period...but television shows should be aware of their audience ages (WWE) and try to tone down the language a bit...I just think censorship is a mess and racism is a mess

Why is it different from F*ck or sh*t?
Hey uncle Tom, stop telling me to stop saying nigga, did I mention Analyst that you'z my nigga? Love you man.
Analyst's point is my stance too. If it's not uncensored, why the F*ck bother censoring sh*t and F*ck.
I was raised to not say the n-word. I dont know how everyone can say it so easily. I hate that word. Out here on Maui, all the dumb white people and samoans and tongans and fillipinos say it because they think they're black. I hate that s***. It should not be allowed to be said on tv. said and done :brucelee:
