But I don't get why some players are just switching numbers because they feel like it. (i.e. Kobe) Even though he's now #24, he'll always be remembered as #8.

And it's 1 higher than MJ, his old number times shaq's LA trophy count, etc.I don't know why Amare is changing, but I really need to get a "custom" jersey with STOUDEMIRE and 1 on it, so I have it b4 everyone else and so I can wear it b4 next season.
