All of the starters are going to play and we get to see our bench in action, and what better team to play then the Heat.I say Pistons win, and I don't need a reason since it is only preseason. Go Pistons!*In Puerto RicoPIN THIS THREAD. It should be used for every game all season.
no.that will get too sloppy.lets go by pre-seasonthen go by weeksbut dont just use one thread for all of the games.
First half highlights: Nazr Mohammed tied for team lead in points with 7. Obvious better free throw shooting then Ben Wallace.Flip Murray is playing well on the offensive end.Carlos Delfino has alot of steals, he looks better on defense.
Pistons are undefeated! 1-0!I didn't see as much Amir as I wanted to...Nazr took alot of shots but looked good. The Dyess-Flip tandem is going to be very good from the bench this year.Rick Rickert needs to remove himself from the team for having his first name being in his last name. Here is to the first Pistons victory of the season!
lol when I saw that Rick guy I was lik wtf...who is that...he was horrible.but Yeah - I liked what I saw.
I only got to see the second quarter, but Flip Murray was great offensively. He made his shots, and was aggressive attacking the hoop.Carlos Delfino was aggressive, and he made a few nice defensive plays. I got to see a bit of Maxiell. He looked great in the post, and made one highlight put-back jam.
Nazr had 16 in his pre-season debut.Delfino had 15andI didnt know that he made it past camp butRICK RICKERT!? lol1-0Go Pistons!
I didn't see the game because of Tiger postseason fever, but thats a good way to start off the pre-season, a win over the champs. Can't wait until November 1 now.
well, we won against minnesota 101-96 then we lost to memphis 89-101Jason Maxiell scored 16 points in each, so he has had some good gamesThe Home Opener against the Utah Jazz is tonight at 7:30 on FSN2-1
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Detroit 90, Utah 85AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 16 (Ticker) -- Flip Murray and Jason Maxiell could make the Detroit Pistons even deeper this season. Murray scored 19 points and Maxiell added 14 as the Pistons posted a 90-85 victory over the Utah Jazz in a preseason contest. NBA TV highlights from Jazz-Pistons: Play With a star-studded starting lineup, the Pistons won a franchise-record 64 games last season en route to reaching the Eastern Conference finals. Looking for more depth off the bench, the Pistons added Murray in free agency, and the fifth-year shooting guard provided some punch in this one, making 8-of-13 shots. Maxiell also is being counted on more heavily after playing in just 26 games for the Pistons as a rookie last season. A 26th overall pick in 2005, the bruising 6-7 forward could see more minutes in the Detroit frontcourt with the departure of Defensive Player of the Year Ben Wallace, who signed with Chicago. Maxiell has responded in four preseason games, averaging 14.2 points. He made 4-of-5 shots and pulled down seven rebounds in just 23 minutes Monday. Nazr Mohammed, who will start in the middle in place of Wallace, added 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting in 24 minutes. Ronnie Brewer, the 14th overall pick in June's draft, scored 15 points for the Jazz, who played without Andrei Kirilenko (back) and Derek Fisher (pelvis).</div>Great win, nice to see the young-guns and new guys coming into form in the preseason.
Flip Murray had a great Game, and JMax just keeps on doing his thing. I cant wait for november 1st, and thursday.
