Re: The official "Dirk is a choker" thread I was reading Pesty's game thread, and I came across the words Dirk Noshowski, and I look over to Game 6's boxscore near the end of the first half, and I look up Noshowski's stats, to my surprise, he was 1-9 FG, and 0-4 3PFG. So I goggle the words "Dirk Noshowski" And again to my surprise, I seen another thread in a differant forum with that exact same title. MVP - not.</div>Mind all of you, I completely 100% agree. I cannot begin to state how much I think Dirk is not your complete MVP. He is no where as near as clutch as Nash, and if GS gets kicked, I think his status as a serious MVP candidate should be reconsidered. He is not a take over a game player, and I also think you should reconsider if you should give all the Mav's sucess to him. Also on a side note, his fg percentage dropped nearly 10 percent in the playoffs, but sure, hes still the MVP right?

I don't know if I completely by the Noshowski, I mean look at his numbers in the series, but it does present an interesting argument. He has been getting a little rattled in this series.

This is the worst choke I have ever seen from you. I have watched you play ever since I moved from Chicago in 98. I saw your first game. I cheered you on every game. I saw you explode in your first playoff series and knew you were destined for something great. You took the Mavs really far in 2003... but didnt play key games that could have given you your first ticket to the finals. You lost your best friend but you were determined to fight back. You suffered a defeat but came back and went to the finals... but couldnt give the extra push to win. You came back with the 6th best record in the league history... and screwed up against an 8th seeded team.. You were totally lost in this series. I saw glimpses of you for several minutes. You choked when your team needed you the most. What happened to the pump fake turn around jumpers you used to sink... This was suppose to be your game man and you let down your team your fans your coach and most importantly yourself. Enjoy the offseason. The finals feel like they were a decade away. I hope you come back and fill the shadow you left sometime back.The hungrier team won today... Kudos to the Warriors on their win.Baron Davis was clearly the better man this series in scoring... his attitude may have sucked but he pulled through for his team. Matt Barnes I hate you. Your jeering in the free throw lineup you hard fouls on the other team. I hope you get crushed in round two.

To counter that mavs sucked even more. I just dont understand ... This team came so far from dust and has never earned respect as a true winning team... Im out for the season ... I feel too sick to think. Ill be back in October on this board ... untill then I hope Chicago wins it all. :no3:

Re: The official "Dirk is a choker" thread I dont think Dirk is a very consistent clutch player, although he has showed up in the past. But Golden State is way to quick, and have to much of an up tempo game for Dirk to be comfortable playing. The thing with Dirk is he cant adapt to the game, or the speed of the game, it has to be on his pace or he isnt that good at all. And to me that is no MVP, but on the same hand I dont think Nash should get it either, to much around him.
