The position we truly need is a PG. Mo isn't that type of player, who is really a combo guard. We need a PG that will penetrate, dish the ball, and set up other players.

Now watching Mo last night, that is exactly the type of PG we need. The only problem is "Will he play this way every night?" I'm not talking about draining 3's or even scoring, but playing solid defense, setting up the offense and getting his teammates involved. Until I see Mo doing this on a routine basis, we really need to look for a player of that mold.

I think Mo would be fine if his shot was falling. His shooting has been flat out horrible lately.

I don't mind if he misses, as long as it's in the flow of offense. The biggest problem I have is when he tries to play "hero ball" and ISO. That bullshit reminds me too much of Crawful. But when Mo is playing with the flow of offense, he can still contribute with his assists and defense; even if his shot isn't falling.

We don't need anymore heroes. We got Dame and Aldridge already, with Matthews and Batum on the second tier.

Absolutely disagree. We need more front court depth.

It's crazy that he still gets assists though. Check his assists over the last ten games. I had no idea he was getting that many dimes.

I disagree without you. I used to think that until I started closely paying attention to how our bench loses leads and can't score.

1.) Freeland and Leonard are getting by enough to keep their guys from scoring in the paint at will. The biggest problem is when Mo and Dame are in the game, guards are able to penetrate or post us up. Since the guards are put to work, there aren't enough opportunities to run a fast break. Also, Leonard and Freeland are playing help defense too much, which frees up their man.

If we have a legit PG, that changes. When the guard is breaking down defense, they can find open players around the rim or at the 3. If Mo played like he did last night throughout the season, I doubt we lose more than 4 games.

Yeah the 6 assists + per game is absolutely solid. But how he played within the flow last night was epic. I mean Mo just looked damn good!

+1. The lack of low post scoring outside of Aldridge is a definite concern. The reason we are able to hit so many 3s is that you have to double Aldridge on the post. In the second unit we just don't have that. Its our glaring weakness, we don't need another PG, the offense isn't predicated on the point guard's ability whatsoever. We have wings that pass well and shoot well, multiple options, its not that important of a need.

Mo is awesome. What we really need is to watch the replay of last night's Blazer game versus the Bobs. It's like a cleanse, without the hunger pains.

The thing is, we need any point guard we have, in our offense, to be a legit 3 point threat. The more we have out there, the more dangerous each guy becomes. Having a half-court, pass first PG who can't shoot the 3 ball is going to kill a lot of our offensive prowess. Guys like Mo and Dorrell do need to stop making boneheaded plays and turnovers/passes though. But that's besides the point.

This is a logical fallacy that has been addressed before. There aren't enough post players who command a double team for each team in the league to have one. To suggest that we need to have two of them is expecting the unreasonable.

Not saying we need a double team player, we just need a low post player who can post up on the low block and pass out to open shooters. There are a bunch of those kind of players in the league. We need a more offensive minded big off the bench, someone looking to score.

We just need a guy who can post up well. Freeland is "ok" at it, but Trob is a garbage man/hustle guy and Meyers....is still too green.

What? And you think there are multiple PG's that are good and available? Ridiculous. You win in this league because you have good front court players.

Aldridge and Lopez are doing fine, but we need more depth.

They are both great. We just need the cheaper versions of them off the bench.

    I said nothing about PG's.

Talk to me about what I say, not about what other people say.

I think he is talking more about the need of a role, not position.

Each and every team can improve. I think we're excellent right now. But we could be better with more front court help.
