A back-up for Dwight and maybe a back-up for Nelson. Thats just the draft i would like to see Warrick on the team hes pretty good only if we dont get the top picks.

Nbadraft.net has the Magic selecting Danny Granger in the 1st round and three guards in the second round.

    ...Hakim Warrick?

I believe Hill is a FA (TO) after NEXT season, so he might be on his way out. Even if he doesn't get traded, he wont be here for the 06-07 season, so I'm saying the need an SF. Hedo is fit for the 6th man role. If they were to draft Warrick, man, that would be one quick and ATHLETIC frontcourt at the F posistion. It's a posterization waiting to happen for the opposing teams. More importantly, they will be able to free up eachother inside for open shots.

    me thinks...
Antoine Wright 1st round, then a defensive-minded SF, backup big man, and reliable 3rd PG in the 2nd rounds. The third PG would allow Francis & Nelson both to slide around between the guard spots. Good fits for these picks include Jawad Williams, David Lee, and Filiberto Rivera.

Hill has a player option this offseason for another two years, so he'll be back for the season 06-07 if he doesn't get traded.

I think, it all depends on who we trade in the offseason and who we bring back. I don't really know much about this upcoming draft class, but what we need most is another big man. Dwight, Cato and Battie are our only real big man at the moment (DeClerq, Hunter, Kasun are all free agent and it's not likely that one of them returns, and Garrity isn't a real PF in my opinion and hopefully traded during the offseason), not much and I don't think we can sign a free agent to help us in the paint. But again, I've heard that apart from Bogut there isn't one solid big man in the draft.

What pick do they have? Didn't they trade this year's first rounder for Jameer Nelson, or am I mistaken?

I've had a look around and none of the draft sites mention anything about that we traded this years pick to Denver, also on the website of Orlando is nothing about which year the pick was we traded and whether it is protected or anything.

I'm pretty sure the pick is protected this year, but I don't know about the future. I think we need to get another SG. We are pretty weak at SG this year and it doesn't look like Christie will wanna play for us next year. Stevenson is good, but I personally think he would be a perfect energy guy off the bench. We don't know what pick we have, but I think we will have about the 10th/11th pick(if we don't win the lotto)

The pick is from the Wizards in the Brendan Haywood trade a couple years ago, this year the top 13 is protected,2006 top 3 protected, and 2007 there is no protection. So the Magic have 1 1st round pick this year

I'm not very sure about who the players are going to be drafted (how good they are). But I think that our team needs a SG and a SF. yeah and I Hakim Warrick might be a good one.

The only problem with Warrick is that he plays our teams strongest positions. He is a tweener and could play SF and PF, but we already have Hill/Turkoglu and Howard in those positions. Yes, we need a backup for Dwight, but I don't want to waste a top 14 pick on a career backup. (since Dwight is gonna be starting at PF every game) My preference is a SG. Stevenson is basically our only SG right now that will be on our roster next year and I like him a lot, but he seems like a perfect player to give us a spark off of the bench. I would love to develop a sharp shooting SG so that he could feed off of the double teams that Dwight will be getting.
