Amare came back and scored 20 points in 19 minutes! That's unheard of after sitting out almost 5 months. Wow, this team is going to be dangerous in the playoffs.

This should be a very good battle for the WCF between the Spurs, Mvs and Suns. The playoffs are gonna be very intersting. From the highlights it looked like Amare could not finish with the dunk yet but he was making his shots. Is that true or was he dunking?

They are stoppable. They still have some holes, there definently a championship contender but i don't see them winning.Apparently Amare has been working on his long jumpers and 3 ball.

Yeah i see in the highlights he either hit a long jumper or 3 pt shot. They should be a top notch team when Amare becomes well again.Shawn marion is probably sad about this. He won't get as mcuh looks with Amare back.

Shawn marion is a role player with amazing stats. I remember reading that half of shots were assisted. He needs to move over alone and let Steve nash and Amare bring us basketball that we've been missing.

Shawn is a great NBA player. great defender, attacker, nice finisher and good shot. He should never have to take a back seat to anyone.Edit: Not to mention a great rebounder.

Unstoppable? And can we wait a couple games to see how Amare works.

They are fun to watch but they are far from unstoppable. Their most important player to their defense (Kurt Thomas) is out for a long time and the spurs should dominate them if those 2 end up playing again. If the mavs get through than I would favor the suns if Amare is completely healthy.

Not really. not dominate. Manu and tim havn't been playing as well this year. It should be a dificult series. Not a domination.

And that makes the spurs that much betterThey have the best record in the west, nearly catching up to detroit and they haven't been playing great. Dallas had a patch of great play early on the season. It's going to be exciting between the spurs, dallas and the suns.

Also, Dallas and Suns have had their share of injuries, just like Spurs so let's not start with the Spurs weren't at 100% all year and look at their record in awe.

Leave the suns alone, Duncan't been suffering from injury the whole season. I'd love to see what would happen if Dirk would get injured. Dallas would not win 50 games.

Hey Duncan is healthy enough to play through that injury. The mavs have had key players injured all year round. The spurs only had Ginobili missing and Finley is a good player to put in place for Ginobili. The suns are terribly outmatched due to the spurs big frontcourt and both Duncan and Mohammad give the suns problems off the glass. The mavs rely more on slashers and their big men can't take advantage of the suns small lineup. The mavs however matchup better to the spurs and if they get healthy have a shot to beat the spurs. Strangely I would rather face San Antonio than Phoenix.

Quit with the whiny <Censored> Duncan isn't 100% excuse, neither is Amare but yet we have this topic. Can he be better, yes but don't discount Parker's emergence as a star in this league as well. He's as big a part as Duncan is now.

Tim Duncan as been playing like a joke? Come on, his ppg are down but that is because Parker is dominating. He is still playing legit defense and scoring 20 a night and his team is the best in the West. i guess that makes his game a joke.

For people who want a laugh, check out melo's comments in the Warriors/Mavs thread. Hillarioso(for the Mexicants)<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I said that makes the spurs much better as a team. His assits are up this year as well. Make sense man.

Tim duncan post allstar is averaging 16-9 on 48% shooting. That is a joke compared to his standards.Injury caused that. You don't fall off like that.edit: Don't talk to me about Tim Duncan. I'm a Duncan fan.
