1) A coach who doesn't want to be in S Fla is gone 2) A genuine sincere guy is coach 3) The coach & GM have a plan & can work together 4) The overpriced overachieving vets are gone 5) The 1st 4 07 draft pics look promising The only drawback is; What the Hell happened to the D? I don't care who the phins draft #1. One expert said McFadden... even though the phins have Ronnie, Ricky(???), & Gado. Williams & Samkon > Cobbs & Chatman who started the season. Hopefully, CC & RM can bluff as well as last year and make a trade. I'm sure there will be planty of takers for McFadden.
I also dont believe the #1 overall is the best asset they have going into the draft....they will pick 3 times between #32 and #64 and players chosen in those areas are the true building blocks of any successful franchise....so I say take the best player #1 regardless of position or trade the pick and then make hay in rounds 2 and 3 to fix the franchise....btw, because the Cheatriots forfeited their #1, the Dolphins will be picking #32 overall, which is truely like having a 2nd #1....
The one positive is that the season will be over in 10 days so we can move on and forget it ever happened, and hopefully forget Cam Cameron, too.

I agree w/ Beef that the #1 overall is not the phins greatest asset. If they can trade the #1 overall then the more picks the better. If not, I'm looking to a DT/NT rotation of Dorsey, Soliai, Fifita, & Rod Wright... the only thing missing will be Manny Wright. lol? I would like to thank Nicky boy for being an impatient egocentric shallow despot and leaving to return to the backwoods where he is obviously more comfortable.
Reasons to be positive in my opinion(in no particular order): Ronnie Brown Ted Ginn Lorenzo Booker Samson Satele Rex Hadnot Channing Crowder Rod Wright Quentin Moses Jason Allen Pick #1, Pick #32, Pick #55(estimated), Pick #64 $$$$$ available for free agency all the players mentioned are very young but have made some plays and show potential....
Agree that they should trade away the first pick. I wonder if they could get Derek Anderson (if the Browns go the route of the Chargers). I don't think there is a future (good) NFL QB in the draft and I have very little faith in Beck based on what we saw this year. QB should be their main concern.
