<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> There might be some friction building between Raptors General Manager Glen Grunwald and Coach Kevin O'Neill. O'Neill was clearly upset that Grunwald waived Lonny Baxter, who was in O'Neill's rotation. When asked why that happened, O'Neill said: "Those are reasonable questions. It became a numbers game and ... I don't (really) have an answer for it." O'Neill wanted someone other than Baxter released. O'Neill, for months, pushed Grunwald to trade for the Warriors' Cliff Robinson. Nothing happened there, either.

Well KO, you hadn't played Baxter much for mot of January, and he was just wasting away on the bench, what do you expect the GM to think. Their really isn't much communication in the Raptors organization right now and it really needs to stop.

Really though Grunwald did that cuz we're looking for size. Baxter doesnt have it even though he produces well often, way more than Bradley. He just doesnt look good i guess even though he was performing he's too short for Grunwalds liking, just like when GG traded away Corliss... of course Lonny is nothing compared to Corliss. I really dont think much of the waiving of Baxter, but im really glad they waived Pargo. GG had to sign Pargo of all ppl, and for the rest of the year too.

Yea I know it was because of size, but if your not going to consult your head coach about who to waive then thats not good. I mean it doesn't matter how tall Archibald is, if KO doesn't play him then he's useless to the team.

I say waive Archibald and get Vin Baker. If Vin Baker screws up again and gets waived I wouldnt care. Vin Baker can produce more in one game the Archibald can in his life.
