Could it be he needs time to train? He's making a movie? He's unwilling to miss any of the new season of Dancing with the Stars?

Or could it be his management team is a bunch of twats?

    Guess which!
So basically M-1 Global's pissed that the last time on CBS everyone referred to it as a Strikeforce show and not a Strikeforce & M-1 Global production like its a goddamn feature film or something. For the record it was called Strikeforce/M-1 Global Fedor vs. Rogers officially but for the sake of brevity CBS just called it Strikeforce. So they take their ball (Fedor) and hold onto it and if Strikeforce wants to play with it again they all go back to the bargaining table for a better deal.

FYI, when Fedor was fighting for Affliction (once) his salary was reportedly in the $300,000 range and the salary paid to M-1 Global was over $1,000,000 plus a huge chunk of the net profits (of which there were little). When M-1 was negotiating with the UFC they wanted a similar deal--to co-promote the show (at the UFC's expense naturally) which is basically just putting M-1 Global beside every UFC logo and saying M-1 Global whenever someone refers to the event in any capacity, then split all the profits from the show, a deal-breaker for White. The UFC is not in the business of co-promotion for a reason and its becoming evident what that reason is.

lol these guys are as bad as Don King, except they're not as good at being subvert about their desire to rip others off.

In their ongoing quest to piss off their current partners and make them regret doing business with them, M-1 rep Vadim Finkelstein and his cronies are now trying to make nice with the UFC. Fedor has two fights left on his Strikeforce "contract" and I guess they are angling to get negotiations going again at that point--supposing it doesn't take Fedor a couple of years to fulfill his obligations.

The UFC is not flexible about co-promotion, get that through your head, dude.

the count down to M-1 fading away is at what 4 yrs max? they Fedor will be past his prime and he'll have a loss or two and we'll never have to hear about these douchebags ever again.
