Love the alternate road red jerseys. The whole fam damily wore them to the Minnesota game on Saturday. Even had a guy stop me when we were headed to our seats to ask where we got them (Joe's last January). We've got two Odens (Big Daddy and lil' bit), a Roy and an Aldridge (the twins). Gotta get a Rudy (although Batum is lil' bit's fave Blazer these days - don't know if they're selling any 88s yet). The Blazers are undefeated over the past two seasons when we wear them. It started with the Utah game last January when Martell had his 24-point 3rd quarter. We also had them on when the Blazers came from 19-down to beat the Hawks later that month and a handful games after that. Now it looks like I need to get four pairs of those awesome looking shoes to complete the look and keep the good luck flowin'. BNM
Um last season we had like a 4 game road trip RIGHT before the All-Star break and we lost all 4 of those games with the red uniforms on. I remember someone saying in an article "These red uniforms are cursed we need to throw them in the garbage and burn them" or something like.
Well, this season we got our first road win on 11/10 against one of the better teams in the East - wearing the red. Last year it took a miracle shot against one of the worst teams in the entire NBA to finally get our first road win on 12/3. Doesn't sound like much of a curse to me. Besides, they look so damn cool.
