the rockets "throwback" jerseys Ok I watched the game the other night againts the magic and I saw the rockets jerseys, are they a official throwback or did houston make these up? they look so ugly. The throwbacks that they should be wearing are the 94-95 style. Those look alot better than these. Lemme know what u think of them.
Personally, I think they look great. The 94-95 ones were good, but that is what we wore two seasons ago. These ones are from the 69-70 season I think. It's still better than the pinstripes I'd say!
I thought these jerseys were fake variants also. I've never seen thoses jerseys worn by the rockets. But I trust trip. I beleive he knows more about the rockets than I.

Whats so bad about them anyways? Their simple and I don't really think theres anything wrong with them. I guess its just a matter of opinion. Just as long as theres no pinstripes. The organization is doing some kind of remembrance of the team I guess, so that's probably why they've been wearing those jerseys. Whats so bad about them anyways? They're the Throwbacks from the '71 season, a tribute to that team in particular. I love them. Houston, instead of Rockets on the front are better. Yeah, it's a whole lot better than the Pajama Pants. Just my 2 cents.
I wonder why they never make the players where the tiny shorts when they do retro. It would be funny to see Yao in that.

The jerseys are not really from hakeems era. More Like Calvin Murphy and Rudy Tomjanovich's era. And I dont think they even wore them for that long. The Rockets Came from San Diego and they wore green and gold jerseys. Then when they came to houston it looks like they only changed the green to red. I like these Jerseys they have more gold than the 94-95 ones but those are good too.
I like the throwback jerseys a lot, simple and clean. I've always liked jerseys with the shadowed numbers. These look a lot better than their current jerseys, they should make this their permanent look.
I think the throwbacks that we've been using these past few games look very nice. It's simple and the colours really match. Suits the team real well in my opinion. A classic.
I love the throwbacks..........am I the only person that likes the nba's old jerseys better than the new ones.......they just look more proffessional
i dont really like them...too much yellow or gold or w/e...i still think they should get black alternate jerseys...those would look so niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice...but, as far as these throwbacks, they're alright for a few games, but nothing more...
I'm loving them, but I'd like to see them in white, and actually I'd like to see the San Diego colors like they have on NBA Live. I'm always using those.
