<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Felix Jones: Jones didn't play in a sophisticated passing attack at Arkansas, but he impressed Cowboys coaches with his route-running ability and hands all weekend. Heck, Wade Phillips is comparing the kid to Thurman Thomas. Jones made a spectacular, leaping grab on the sideline after running a wheel route during this afternoon's practice. It'll be tough to beat the Curse of 22, but Jones got off to a good start.

Orlando Scandrick: The fifth-round cornerback from Boise State had a better minicamp than first-round pick He has 4.36 40 speed, but his ability to break on the ball is just as impressive. It's not hard to see why a lot of folks considered Scandrick the steal of the fifth round.

Danny Amendola: We could go with second-round TE Martellus Bennett or fourth-round RB Tashard Choice, who both had solid minicamps. But I'm thinking folks want to read about an undrafted dude with a chance to make the cut. Amendola, a proud Wes Welker wannabe from Texas Tech, has the best shot. Just ask Jenkins, who got beat a bunch by Amendola during the four practices. "He's real quick -- a great receiver," Jenkins said. "He's got great speed breaks and is real decisive. He's tough to cover."</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Tearrius George - He was signed to a futures contract after last season after playing in Canada. Of the three outside linebackers in the mix - Erik Walden, a sixth rounder, and Darrell Robertson, making the move from defensive end - George was the most fluid. At 6-4, 270, he was surprisingly nimble and could really bend coming off the edge on pass rush drills (and you thought on Albert could come up with some football-talk.)

Daniel Polk - He's making the move from QB at Midwestern State to receiver in the NFL. It's a jump, but he showed some good hands and didn't seem to be a body catcher. I think the receiver crew in general was pretty strong.

Richard Bartel - His year on the practice squad really benefitted him. He has dropped 25 or so pounds and looks like he can move a little better. He was more efficient Friday than he was Saturday, but there might be something there with the former Grapevine product.</div>

I've heard great things about Erick Walden, who apparently wasn't at the combine but his pro-day numbers tested just as well as Jerod Mayo. I don't think Daniel Polk has a shot in hell of making the team, but that really goes without saying.
