Couple of things: 1) Has a Superbowl team ever played in their home stadium? 2) At this point of his career, Tom Brady was brilliant to switch to the NFC as to greatly increase his chances of playing in the Superbowl. Viola!
Not technically, but the 49ers played a Super Bowl at Stanford's stadium, which was essentially a home game.
I picked KC vs Tampa to meet in the SB back in early September prior to the start of the season. GENIUS! (i also had Dallas in the NFC Championship game LOL)
So many temptations. Heh. I remember when I moved to Atlanta in 1997, life was grand. There was a post-Olympics aura permeating the city. Tiger Woods had an amazing 1997 Masters victory, etc., etc. The next year, the Falcons and ("Dirty Bird") Jamal Anderson went all the way to Superbowl XXXIII (1999). Problem is, it was played in Miami. Oh, my, South Beach got the best of at least one of them cats. Did I say "cats"? https://www.nytimes.com/1999/02/02/...st-looms-larger-after-the-falcons-defeat.html

But this year, they're getting a rest: For the first time in 37 years, the beer company isn't advertising during the Super Bowl. Instead, Budweiser is shifting the money that would've been spent on the commercial slot — a reported $5.6 million for the February 7 event — to support "critical Covid-19 vaccine awareness" with donations and future ad campaigns, the company said Monday...............
What are you doing? Probably watch at home with fiancee. I don't really care all that much tbh. She's from texas so she's more into football than I am. Maybe order some pizza or wings. Cheering for the Bucs to spite the libs!
One of the gifts my wife bought me for Christmas was............an air fryer. Dude, that thing makes outstanding wings!! Super easy, super cleanup, super (empty) bowl!!
Yeah, the trader joes chicken tenders were pretty clutch in those. We actually ordered Buffalo Wild Wings for the last set of football games, and they were ok.
