Heard that line on MLB about the Seattle Mariners. Sure would hate to face King Felix in a one game playoff. Also heard comments that the Jays & Mariners weren't though of as rivals and given the pitching scenarios Seattle would win. Damn, what happened. King Felix & Paxton got their asses handed to them. Last nights game was well pitched on both side with Buehrle coming out on top. Looks like this season will end with the team no one wants to play not factoring.

...yeah, you just never know. I mean the prospect of having to face Shields or Lester in a one game playoff is not something I'd look forward to either.

Even Lester has dropped two against the Angels though yesterdays game was one that the A's elected to make three errors. Pitching is paramount and yes Shields and Lester would be formidable opponents. I wonder if Lester has his get out of Oakland bags packed yet. That AL Wild Card looks like a prize no one wants to win. I have to admit though I'm lamo at the Mariners getting their a@@es kicked. Going to be interesting when Baltimore goes up there for their last three.

^^^yup, the O's are still battling the Angels for HFA, so they still have something to play for.
