If people havn't already realised this, they better and soon.Kevin Garnett the leader MVP contender has a bad game tonight, who will step up? surely this means the Wolves will lose if Garnett plays badly which has been the story the past 7 seasons. Not this time,Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell came up huge for the Wolves tonight.Sam was simply on fire from deep, they aren't many words to explain this.Tony Parker hits back to back threes to give the Spurs a 4 point lead at 83-79,seems Wolves confidence has completly gone...NOPE Sam wasn't going to have any of that.Hits a three, takes it inside for a two then off a Spurs miss gets another three ball to drop. That basically sealed the game even though it was only a 4 point game with plenty of time on the clock. The wheels had turned it was the Spurs confidence which had gone.

Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell have been the best off-season moves by any team without a doubt.People keep talking about Karl Malone and Gary Payton, well no these two Wolves have been the reason the Wolves looks so scary right now.Garnett has gone from a superstar with no guy to depend on,to a guy loaded with scoring power. With still Troy Hudson,Wally Szczerbiak and Michael Olowokandi on the sidelines injuried. This is become a very scary basketball team that no one will want to face come playoff time.

If those guys who are currently injuried don't ruin the team chemistry and know their role within the team then the Wolves should have no problems claiming the midwest division title and a top 3 seed which would basically give them a lock to the 2nd round.I know saying someone is a "lock" to make it to the next round is a surprise in the tough western conference but the team Minny have right now,the way they are playing togeather It's a valid point to make.

When Tim Duncan gets 36 points 20 rebounds 7 assists and his team ends up losing the game then you know the other team must of done something damn good from stopping him winning the game on his own

Sam Cassell has been awsome this season,He should be a lock for the all-star team this year.Sprewell has been a key member and had a great month along with a great season.

If teams don't think the Wolves are for real, they better and soon...or they will be just another victim.

This is coming from a non Wolves fan

I don't give out praise easily [IMG]

I watched the last two games and I am amazed on how everything is beginning to gel I really think that Kandi and THud will not be a problem it is Wally that I think could bring in some drama, that is if he even plays this year. I actually hope Wally doesn't but then again i don't like his game. I love watching the wolves play it is always a highlight in my day. Good win tonight always nice to have my roomate cock off and have his words ate like they were today.

Well, thanks for your praise. But I must say I had my doubts at the beginning of the season, but those doubts have vanished and I think that we are guarenteed out of the first round this year. Lord have mercy.

They certainly are a great team aren't they? Chemistry is undeniably good, because as I had said before "they work so well together because they're friends." I love this team and it's players so much, at first I was so worried and concerned of their welfare, I lost that worry. They are the true embodiment of effort and teamwork. If someone falters, the others will rise up to the occasion. Even more so when we're all back on the court.

Exactly. Tim Duncan isnt a stat hog, but when he goes for those huge games 99% of the time its because it is what needs to be done to win the game, and the usually do.

We have clearly won against some tough teams this year solidfying that the team is legit. Going into Sacramento, down 6 with under a minute to go and the come out with a win in OT? Beating the streaking Spurs at San Antiono.

Sam and Latrell happened to be the PERFECT fit for Garnett. With Garnett's high energy play, these guys can match it. Its really fun to watch.

its great because garnett had a "bad" game *22 points 10 rebounds is "bad" hehe* and TD had a great one and they find a way to break through the spurs defense. btw, did anyone see Goldwires fingerroll over TD and 1

Everyone has known that the Twolves are for real. It's just that come playoff time, Minnesota chokes. Hopefully, since Sam, and Latrell have some experience on getting past the FIRST ROUND, maybe they'll help change that.

I'm not worried about any of the ego's coming back. There was an article about wally that he talked about how he knows he doesn't have to score now, that he just needs to be the guy to knock down open shots. It was pretty optimistic, too bad he couldn't have figured that out last year during the playoffs.

last year in the playoffs he had to score, he couldnt take that mindframe or wed have lost just the same. now he can focus on being our outside shooter and not worrying about forcing stuff, and have the team still win even if he only gets 5 instead of 15 or 25

DId you watch the playoffs last year at all? KG and Thud carried the team and put a very good scare on the lakers. If wally wouldn't have had the mentality of KG with AP's skillset things would have been all right. IT would have been a closer series if he would have faked another injury instead of making his bonehead plays. Had wally just camped out at the 3 pt line and took open shots the series would have been closer.
