Apparently Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin are coaching this thing?

I get the red-white-green dynamic in the poster but it looks like they should have lightsabers.

Ricardo Lamas was getting dominated but had supreme faith in his grappling. Surprising submission win. Charles Oliveira continues to be a guy great at giving it out but not so great at taking it.

Marcin Held seemed to be winning on the feet against Diego Sanchez but decided to keep rolling for foot and leg locks. A wee bit retarded, that one. Sanchez is a shade of his former self these days.

Mostly great performance from Tony Ferguson. For a guy who finishes fights he seemed content to ride this one out. RDA didn't seem to be able to hurt Ferguson with his strikes. His leg kick was pretty effective but he didn't throw it much.

Eight fights went the distance including the five round main event. Long night in Mexico City.

Speaking of which can they stop with the Mexico City shit, now? If lethargic fights are what they want they can do them in Denver. There are sea level cities in Mexico FFS.

Agreed. Not a real exciting night of fights.

Ferguson busted RDA pretty well. I wonder how McGoat would do against Ferguson.

Ferguson looked great tonight. 2 losses in a row for RDA now. Did his luck run out?

I still would like to see Ferguson fight Khabib.

Does the fact that Tony was booked to fight Khabib and pulled out mean that even with this win he's not the number one contender?

Stylistically it is the most interesting match-up at lightweight McG could have.

Some discussion online regarding the impact of Ferguson's deep eyepoke on RDA in this fight.

If it had been an auto point deduction, something Joe Rogan is stumping for, the fight would've been a draw.
