    Mets get seven strong innings from Syndergard, set up man Reed strikes out Pence with the bases juiced. Giants best hitters hitless, Game ends when the 51 save closer Familia give up a three run bomb to the Giant probably least likely to do so. Madison Bumgarner, the guy may not have the best "stats" but with an important game for all the marbles he's a God Damn freak of nature.

    Familia had a disaster of a World Series last year and now last night. He couldn't get anything but the fastball over last night. One ended up over the right field wall.

    Sometimes we see stud vs stud to end result as dud vs dud. Until Gilliaspe put it over the wall the pitching was as advertised.

    Given his season I'd say 3 bombs off Porcello is unexpected but it happened. Game ends with Ratface Pedroia striking out and Cleveland gets a "W".
