A battle with team above us and the team below us. These two games could have a major impact on our seeding at the end of the season. So who are you rooting for? Lakers 2-0? Mavs 2-0? A split? I think I want to Mavs to win both cuz I have hopes Lakers land in play-in.
I would say a split to give us a chance at passing LA, but with the Blazers losing we need Dallas to keep losing.
this season, imo, is the most unpredictable I can remember. Every night it seems a top-4 seed loses to a lottery team, and often the losses are curb-stompings. And then, add in the fact that just about every one of the 12 teams in playoff position engages in rest-games for their stars at a rate far above the past. Which actually makes sense considering the compressed schedule and rash of serious late season injuries so then, pulling for one team over another just seems to be an exercise in frustration, and there's already enough of that being a fan of this Blazer team. Ideally, both the Mavs and Lakers will go 0-2 against each other. Short of that, I don't really care
