The way I see it, we'll probably face Dampier 4 times in a season

The way I see it is if Dampier gets signed by Atlanta, they could trade him after 60 days to Memphis for anyone of their players. We'd probably have to face Dampier four times a year as opposed to two times a year if we did a sign and trade to an Eastern conference team that he wants to go to like the Knicks or the Pacers. Damp can be really scary when he's on. I sure hope he gets shipped to the East and stays put. But I doubt he'll stay there for very long with West and Don Nelson all over him. Let's pray the Pacers start opening up talks with Mully.

I check the sports website every hour with hopes of reading a deal for Damp. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Yeah when a trade goes down this site will be crawling with 30 users every hour again like when the dfish signing went down. Right now its quiet and understandably so.

Q Richardson offer sheet will be matched by the Clips so It's very possible Dampier will sign for Phoenix with their remaining 5.4 million worth of cap space.

Basically what I was told and also read on ESPN, It would make prefect sense for Phoenix to sign Dampier. Their biggest need is at the center position. Adding him to their roster would mean they are set at every spot on the floor.

That would be scary. Maybe if Damp wants more money and he's willing to go to Phoenix we can get something for him. Maybe like Shawn Marion or something. We need a forward and possibly another shooter like Casey Jacobsen. Damp's motivation is money and to go to the East, but if he can't go to the East, then he'll settle for money. I think a trade for Marion for Dampier is pretty fair considering the Suns are looking at making Joe Johnson their future.
