Yeah this is an exciting year for the West conference playoffs. You like a team like the t-wolves & their possible matchups. And you think to yourself thats its a legit chance they can get knock out in the 1st round (pray it doest happen) or win a world championship. Both are extremely possible.

Who ever plays The Grizz in the 1st round should be somewhat worried. They are a very capable team of doing damage in the playoffs that no one really expect to win. They get to go into a matchup with a higher seed team having a care free attiude. Thats sometimes is the most difficult team to beat. They could be the G-tech of the playoffs.

And the Blazers, if they sneak into the playoffs it wouldnt shock me if the pull a upset or 2. They almost did it last year.

So Iam expecting a good playoff from start to finish.

Denver got back it's 8th spot I see. Anybody believe that Memphis can beat the Spurs right now. Some people got the Grizz to win it all. I believe in miracles, but damn. I doubt that, this isn't a 1 game and your out tournament. I can't remember any NBA champs being lucky like the Angels in baseball when they won 2 years ago.

I don't think the Grizz can beat the spurs in a 7 game series. I think they can make it interesting but the Spurs are a veteran club and knows what it takes to win a championship, the Grizz will be happy just to be there.

Agreed the Grizz are talented but to young to know what it really takes to win the close ball games in the playoffs.Hubie will try to explain it to him in his coaching style. But it wont be enuff to beat a championship team like the spurs. But it would be interesting if they took the Spurs 6 or 7 games.

This is going to be tight! Especially since there will be re-seeding... I think so.

Pure entertainment, if all teams are healthy, complete then we're in for a real treat. They're at their best, with awesome rosters, coaches and ability. Probably one of the most entertaining since many seasons ago in my opinion. Anyone's game, it'll just put them on a very high scale amongst their other monster competitors in the West and look good on their record. Regardless of that they'll be killing, kicking and winning trying to be the better team.

    Los Angeles vs. Dallas

    If this holds up:

    Sacramento over Denver in 5
    Minny over Houston in 5
    L.A. Over Dallas in 6
    Memphis Over Sac in 7

The Memphis one is my upset [IMG]

Tell me this doesn't make you salivate....
T-Wolves play to their potential and take the #1 Seed. The Kings faulter a little and fall to the #2. And they meet up in the Western Conference Finals. How many games have gone to Overtime with these two? 7 game series with 4 going to OT. That would be delicious.

I'm really looking to the Western Confrence Playoffs this year simply because any team in the west can knock off any other any night of the week. I mean for all I know we could see Memphis and Denver in the finals however that happening is very unlikely. I see five dominant teams in the west: Lakers, Kings, Timberwolves, Mavericks, and Spurs. Anytime you can get any of these teams faced off against each other it will be a great game. Im expecting that four of these five make it to the second round of the playoffs. If that happens you will see basically see the Final Four of the NBA.

    I cannot wait.

    T-Wolves vs. Nuggets
    Spurs vs. Grizz
    Lakers vs. Mavs
    Kings vs. Rockets

We could possibly see a Kings vs Lakers second round matchup!HOw exciting would that be! [IMG]
