So The Wire has finally come to an end with the series finale airing yesterday...does anyone watch the show and if so, what did you think of the end? I was pretty disappointed, the way they seem to just run through the cast knocking them off one by one in the final season was kinda weak, and the finale just wasn't half what I expected it to be.
I ALMOST read your comments on the series finale. I devoured the first 4 seasons but since having a baby boy arrive in Oct haven't had time to watch much so I have to aquire the final season and catch up. LOVE this show, best show on TV right now IMO, love it more than Lost or Battlestar Galactica. IMO the Soprano's had higher highs in the first 2 seasons, but it didn't maintain the level of excellence that The Wire has.
