Some high school students think of geometry class as torture, but this high school geometry teacher actually tortured and killed at least four victims. Graham William Reid allegedly beat victims with iron bars, breaking bones and teeth, mutilated and burned them before killing them. Four are known but there could be others. He cannot be charged with murder because the victims were cats. Actually kittens. He only is charged with animal abuse. This ____ (I can't think of an adequate word) said he felt powerful while torturing and killing kittens. An adult cat, depending on breed, sex, and individual genetics, weighs in between 7 and 15 lbs. And these were kittens. Average weight of adult American male is 198 lbs. So he felt powerful murdering someone 5% of his size. Fuck prison. Turn him over to me, and my cat. When we are done breaking his bones, we can put him living into the tiger enclosure at the zoo. After the tiger does what carnivores do, I can say, good cat.
I would argue that there are likely worse people in the world - but this dude is a scumbag and deserves loathing.

Torture is unreliable in getting information because the person being tortured will say whatever is wanted. I remember after World War II an American in interrogation said he got best information playing chess with suspect war criminals, they would relax and talk.

Damn dude. I’d kill a MF if they took my pet just to butcher it for money. As far as my kitty, he’s pretty old. I’m wondering if he knew it was time and went and found a spot to die. That’s been the case with other cats I’ve had. Dogs seem to want to be home with the family but I’ve never actually had a cat just stay home and die. He was really healthy and vibrant for his age though so idk. I’ll keep lookin.
While clearly a scumbag, I don't think you really have to argue that there are certainly worse people in the world. That being said, most serial killers started murdering animals in their youth. Wonder what this dude was doing.......................
Interesting, my cats returned home at the end. Even my feral cat Margot. I trapped her to be spayed, fed her, but she remained feral her entire 13 years. She never let me come close, I never petted her, but when her kidneys failed she came inside and crawled behind me biggest bookcase. With some difficulty I found a vet who would come over, use a net to haul her out and euthanize her sitting on the floor.
As others have said, there is clearly something wrong with this guy. Killing animals, especially in such a cruel way, is almost always a precursor to killing people.
Growing up, we had cats. In my life, I've had to put to sleep more cats than I care to admit (meaning, Im old and I've had lots of cats in my life). Only 2 died "at home". One died on the back porch, with one of my other cats sitting next to him waiting to come inside. The other fell off the back of the couch and was dead. I think she must've had a heart attack or stroke. She was one of the most co-dependent cats I've ever known. Loved attention, and would follow you around and if you picked her up and took her with you (to go sit somewhere else), she would stay and fall asleep. She was 12-13 at the time, so it wasn't like she was young (and she was a ferocious eater. It wasn't uncommon for her to finish the other cats meals for them). All that said, there's a special place in hell for people who torture and kill pets.
