Reading this tool Brett today. Stating if they sign Kreider, they have to deal TDA. Or good possibility they would. I've talked about it but the money to sign Kreider won't be an issue. One, Girardi is coming off the books. 3 million saved there. I highly doubt they keep Strome. Panarin doesn't need him and he will want too much. They will deal him. 3 million more saved. Smith and Staal will probably be bought out if they can't be dealt. Another 4 million saved for next season. If they buyout Hank that will save another 3 million right there. Even without Hank being bought out, that is 12 million saved right there. Factor in Kreider will get a 2.4 million dollar raise from what he gets now. TDA will get about a 5 million raise. Fast if they keep him will get a 1 to 1.5 million raise. Still money left.
Would be great if they could add a few more offensive weapons . Team doesn’t need guys like McKegg and Smith (even though he’s not that bad).
