The WVU coaching search is absolutely hilarious as the Athletic Department keeps changing their mind (or having it changed for them). Known insiders on the WVU scout football forum are getting destroyed by the common fans because they keep presenting information they are told is final only to have it blow up in their face. First, Doc Holliday was going to be the Head Coach, but apparently the Black Coaches Alliance contacted WVU about their lack of interviewing a minority candidate, so that was pushed off. Then Terry Bowden was suppose to get the job and bring in a stud coaching staff, but that was put on hold as Jimbo Fischer showed interested. Jimbo was all set to take the job and WVU was going to pay his $2.5 Million buyout. However, somebody in the AD got the bright idea to tell Jimbo that he either had to take a lower salary to get WVU to pay his buyout or take a higher salary and pay the buyout himself. Next thing you know, Jimbo is telling the media he is staying at FSU and that he turned down WVU. Stay tuned for the next episode of as the Mountaineer turns...
