Mess, last night's game may have been an outlier, but for me, it was the most enjoyable Yanx game I've watched in quite awhile. The offense, defense, and pitching, all were on display and they actually played and looked and acted like Champions.

The Jays will be a tougher test but if the Yanx can somehow make it to the WS again this year, who knows what might happen. Schlittler has looked better and better with each start since being called up and last night he was flat out dominant and dialed in all night, and you could see it in his body language...best performance by any Yanx pitcher in a very long time.

But I still contend that this team is still "not built for the PS" and I still contend that both Cashman and Boone are holding this franchise back from being truly great again.

FWIW, it's nice to see you and Al posting again, even if it's only during this Post Season.

Watching a young pitcher dominate like that was quite enjoyable. I hope he stays healthy because he has the stuff to be a future ace. 101 with incredible command. He definitely became the story of the night. One of the more dominating playoff performances you will ever see. Incredible for a deciding game.

As for the next series, Toronto will be tough but there’s no reason the Yankees can’t beat them. Overwhelming dominant, where they can’t be defeated.
