<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Seattle SuperSonics had a scare with a center on Friday that put blown-out knees and twisted ankles in perspective. Second-year big man Johan Petro suffered an irregular heartbeat during shootaround for the game against the Lakers in Los Angeles and was scratched from the game. According to reports in the Seattle area, Petro, 20, was to be examined by doctors on Saturday but was expected to play in Sunday's home game against the Lakers. Petro felt discomfort on Thursday but his heartbeat returned to normal before Friday's workout. Later, it sped up again. "I don't know how, I don't know why," Petro told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer on Friday. "This morning I was feeling OK, but my heart had started feeling funny. It was kind of scary, especially when they say your heart beats too much." Petro did not take medication to correct the problem. "My heart just got its wisdom back by itself," he told the paper. "It was beating kind of fast and hard. I was like 'OK, maybe this is going to be gone.' But it was gone and then it kept coming back." The Seattle SuperSonics had already lost starting center Robert Swift for the season with a knee injury, and rookie big man Mouhamed Sene has been nursing a sprained right ankle.</div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2650077
