Woe! this guy is a jargon slinger of the first order. "matter inexorably acquires the key physical attribute associated with life." Shazzam! Now that would be a Viola event! "vortices in turbulent fluids spontaneously replicate themselves by drawing energy from shear in the surrounding fluid." People have been using CFD for years to avoid vortices. Now this dude thinks vortices generation is like the life force? Naw, not worth another Viola! http://syr.stanford.edu/SAILFLOW.HTM http://www.vacantisw.com/articles/computational fluid dynamics.pdf
yeah, I think the best part of that read was the comment after the article, and I will paraphrase to something like "Nice, now prove it"
You are quoting the journalist, who is named Natalie. I'm guessing that's a she. But more to the point, the work on vortex self-replication is not the subject of the article, and is merely a related example. barfo
Science is boring. Iran wants to be advanced. Let's go bomb their labs. Then we can brag that we're more advanced.
I'm not trying to say this is true, just that it's an interesting concept, and exposing others to the idea before there is a lot of proof for it.
