More than any team we've ever had. They didn't crumble after the Dallas loss. They went into Houston, got a big lead, lost it all, and still won. They don't get rattled. Everyone thought we'd lose to New Orleans after beating Spurs in triple overtime, but we went there and blew them out. If THIS team got beat by Sean Elliott's miracle three, this team would've bounced back and won the series. I saw this toughness in person in Toronto last season. We had a 17 point lead. Raptors came back and forced OT and took a three point lead. Dame came up and drilled a long three. We ended up winning, Yes, we lost to Dallas on Saturday but we didn't let it kill our confidence. If that happened in the playoffs, I believe this team would bounce back and win the series. And that is why NO TEAM in the West should want to play the Blazers in the playoffs. They are tough.
I dunno. There was still too much running around like insecure spazzes in crunchtime last night instead of executing. Things just went our way. Also Leonard improbably kind of stole back the momentum when everybody else was trying to disappear, otherwise we might have been down 10+ mid 4th.
The Dallas lost would've been the end of the season if it was the Bonzi Blazers or Felton Blazers. Those teams let one loss kill their whole season. The Lillard Blazers are tougher than that.
This is why I think nobody beats us in a 7-games series. We adjust and learn from mistakes better than ever. This probably the most mentally tough Blazer team since the Walton era.
