<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony's movie acting debut could be canceled.

Anthony's agent, Calvin Andrews, said Sunday his client would not play the lead role in the basketball movie "Playground" if a film company wasn't in place by mid-March. Andrews said Dallas-based Platinum Pen Publishing and Film hopes to shoot the movie this summer, but needs a film company.

Andrews said Anthony would be in Denver for most of the summer. Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said Anthony probably wouldn't take part in the team's play in the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City in July, and if he did, it would be a short stint.

"I know that I'll probably have another opportunity to do something like that," he said.</div>

i think a good movie by carmelo will be good for all of us his fans... we all know the basketball-related movies have sucked so far so we need some freshness and i think with melo in it this can turn out to be sth unique and good... hopefully melo leads nugs to the playoffs and gets that movie role in the summer... go go NUGS!
