What don't fans around the league know about your team, or misunderstand? 1. How awesome Michael Redd is. Michael Redd is probably a top 5 all-around offensive player. He scores in every way imaginable. Also, a story many don't know. When Redd was called by Jerry Colangelo about the olympics they set a date for him to come down to Chicago, but Redd said he had practise and told Jerry he'd meet him in Chicago right afterward and insisted on it even though Jerry knew it would mess up Redd's schedule. So after practise Redd gets in his car and drives down to Chicago after his practise, knocks on the door. Jerry Colangelo see's Redd in the hallway with his practise uniform on and a dufflebag....Redd asks if he can go into the bathroom, and a few minutes laters comes out with a dress shirt and tie on. And told Jerry how much the olympics meant to him. Jerry told this story to a Bucks announcer during a HOF diner and the announcer was on the radio yesterday telling the story, it was cool, tells you how good of a guy Redd is. 2. Ersan Ilyasova is a big talent that doesn't get much talk. 3. Dan Gadzuric is a terrible basketball player. Like the Bucks announcer said the other night, he's never had 2 good games in a row and it's mistifying.

    1. Carlos Delfino is a great asset off the bench. He brings energy, defense, and 3-pt shooting. I feel he is the most underrated off of our bench.2. Lindsey Hunter is probably our best defender.3. Jason Maxiell eats babies.

He usually doesn't complain until after he gets the technical. Usually its just an action or a "Come On Ref" that gets him T'd up.

Ira Newble can easily go off on any team from behind the 3-point line. Larry Hughes loves to take jumpers and miss[OK, Everyone knows that] Mike Brown can't coach...[OK, Everyone knows that too]. Um, Larry Hughes can shut down whatever superstar you're team has. Not kidding either.

That's why he always starts out the year slow, but heats up throughout the season.

Yeah, he did get a technical for saying that. It was after a cheap foul call, and like he always does when the person misses the free throw he used his usual "Ball Don't Lie"

The Pistons bench is much better than the NBA thinks. We have the best team of trainers in Arnie Kander and Mike Abdenour. The Detroit Pistons don't actually play in Detroit - that should change.

Re: Things other fans don't know about your team/players

    1. Al Jefferson seriously does have one of the better post games in the league. His hook is up there with the best of them, he has an excellent back to the basket game, he's quick, his face up game has improved immensely, he can hit the short jumper, he finishes plays off balance easily, he has a very soft touch, he can finish with both hands. Not many players can stop Al 1-on-1, no word of a lie.2. Rajon Rondo is the best rebounding point guard this league has seen since Jason Kidd.3. Wally Szczerbiak's knees and ankles are likely made out of thin glass.4. Rajon Rondo, Gerald Green, Allan Ray, and Leon Powe are the only 4 players on the roster that haven't had a listed injury all year long.5. Brian Scalabrine and his wife could possibly be the first dual breast feeding family.

The Dallas Mavericks1.JJ Barea is a better fit than Anthony Johnson was as the 3rd string point guard. He really plays pretty good for a undrafted rookie. He plays the way Avery wants him to play and runs the offense. He also has had two 40 point games in the D-League. I dont care if it was against D-leaguers, scoring 40 in a game is hard no matter where you play. 2. Devean George is the best free agent signing in the last couple of years for the Mavericks. He doesn't always show up in the box score, but he plays great defense and gets the most crucial rebounds and loose balls on the team. I really wouldnt be suprised to see him on Amare sometime in the playoffs. He's big and strong and can probably do a better job on him than Damp or Diop. 3. Dallas has been in only 2 Overtime games all season. They are 1-1 in those games. One was against Indiana early in the season and the other as you might remember was the loss to Phoenix a few weeks ago.

Utah Jazz1-Derek Fisher cannot shoot, but thinks he can.2-Matt Harpring cannot shoot but thinks he can.3-Ronnie Brewer cannot shoot but thinks he can.4-Gordon Giricek cannot shoot but thinks he can.5-CJ Miles cannot shoot but thinks he can.6-Dee Brown cannot shoot but thinks he can.7-Andrei Kirilenko cannot shoot, knows he can't, but shoots anyway.8-Rafael Aruajo has a favorite chair on the bench and sits their all game.9-Free throws are hard.

    0. The Warriors have a better home record than the Pistons and the sixth best in the league, but have a worse road record than boston and the second worst in the league.1. A ninety percent free throw shooter, when traded to the warriors, will shoot only 70% from the line once in a warriors uniform.2. The Warriors are a force to be reckoned with when healthy.3. Andris Biedrins is not actually that good, he just gets garbage rebounds that any big man would get in his place. He cannot box out.4. Baron Davis takes more shots in the clutch than any individual in the league. The problem is he never makes them.5. Stephen Jackson is a great passer.6. Al Harrington has been playing center, and playing it very well.7. The Warriors don't have a single bad defender on their team, and yet suck at defense. Go figure.8. The Warriors have beaten every single good team in the league and lost to every single bad team.

Well he no longer plays for the Raptors (Matt Bonner) but his nickname, The Red Rocket came after our transit system when it was known that he takes the bus and subway to work everyday for practise and games and refused rides from Sam Mitchell. The commentators for San Antonio say that it is because of his red hair but they are wrong!!!

Al Jefferson is one of the premier young big men in the league.Paul Pierce is one of the best all around swingmen in the league. If Rajon Rondo had seen consistent minutes like he's getting now all season long, he'd be the rookie of the year (or at least a top candidate).

    1. Gilbert Arenas isn't a bad guy.2. However, him and Antawn are also one of the worst defensive players in the league.3. Eddie Jordan may just be one of the top five worst coaches in the NBA. His substitutions in crucial situations are bizarre, his love for small ball hurts this team, and his rotations are inconsistent. 4. Ernie Grunfeld is a good GM.5. Andray Blatche is NOT the next KG. (ming said it, not GA and I)6. Etan Thomas & Michael Ruffin are terrible basketball players.7. The Wizards are clearly better than their record indicates.8. Caron Butler does not get the recognition he deserves (the same for many other players, as well).

When I watched the Raptors, I found it startling that even Toronto residents had no idea just how good Alvin Williams was. He is, and will always be, my favorite basketball player of all time. It's actually sad. I live 3 hours from Charlotte, and get none of their games.

    - Mardy Collins is a whole lot better than the stats tell you.- Renaldo Balkman was one of the best picks in the past draft.- Stephon Marbury DOES play defense.- Steve Francis is finished.- Isiah Thomas ISN'T the worst Coach/GM in the league. There's probably others, but Ill leave it at this for now.
