Assuming we resign Camby (for whom we have Bird rights)- we will still have a midlevel exception that we can use to get someone. With Camby and Oden back, we don't have any obvious holes in our lineup. Camby can back up both Aldridge and Oden- Pryzbilla may be back as well- so our power positions are filled. SF seems set with Batum/Webster and Rudy taking extra minutes. SG seems set with Roy/Rudy. PG could possibly use a third person behind Miller/Bayless. So, I was thinking, lets make offers to the following people: 1) Nate Robinson- gives us an incredible offensive boost off the bench. I don't know if anyone will offer him more money, but if they don't he would be a steal at the midlevel. I can remember how many times he's killed us. Could back up both the point. 2) Larry Hughes- having a bad year, but a decent SG with both potentially good offense and defense. Good passer/slasher. Not the greatest shooter, but could be good off the bench. 3) Chuck hayes- decent, young center- future back up to Oden, probably can't get for the midlevel, but would be a good bargain 4) Barbosa- in 2011, I would definitely target him. Initially I thought he was a free agent this year and he was my inspiration for this list. Those are my early thoughts. What do you guys think?
Haven't seen who is available, but no-one from that list really grabs me. But I don't think we are set at SF when mentioning Webster. That guy perhaps shouldn't even be playing in the NBA. I'd rather take a flyer on a rookie SF. I seriously doubt they could be any worse than Websters mental midgetism and brick chucking displays.
