<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nuggets are getting the most bang for their buck this season.

After player contracts became guaranteed Saturday, the Nuggets ranked third-lowest in NBA payroll with a total team compensation of $41.4 million, and were $2.3 million under the luxury tax. The Utah Jazz had the lowest payroll at $37.5 million, and the Los Angeles Clippers were at $39.4 million. New York has the highest payroll at $95.1 million.

With a 22-16 record, the Nuggets look like the NBA's best bargain, with a better record than Utah and the Clippers. Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said being under the salary cap would allow him to make a deal by using a trade exception, if needed.</div>

Not bad for a team riding 6th in the entire league. Once again, hats off to Kiki, Jeff, the whole Nuggets staff, and of course the players themselves.
