Come on. Deadline is coming up. I love how senile Lou screwed the Devils over before he left with his moronic Schneider deal. If the dumbass had committed to a full rebuild, there is a good chance they could have had McDavid and Matthews. At the least, Eichel and one of the Fins coming out this year. However, because the tool made that deal, now the Devils have a half-ass team who won't draft a franchise player and will not do anything in the playoffs.
I wouldn't actually mind seeing Jensen called up for a few but i guess they don't want to risk altering the lineup unless it's a dl shakeup. What i don't really get is why teams like WPG are so pressed to re-sign ufa's right now instead of trading them for assets and then still having a chance to sign them in the summer anyway. Especially non-playoff teams.
Because they are Winnipeg. There is a reason they suck and already lost their franchise once. They are dumb.
