A few interesting comments at the end of the blog: praises for Bennett, support for and disapproval of the way Kelly conducts himself professionally. "We don't have any sense" of Thomas' availability against Colorado this week, Kelly said. "We don't talk about it." Kelly did say that Thomas' "attitude is great" today. Kelly spoke highly of the efforts Oregon got out of Kenjon Barner and Bryan Bennett in place of LaMichael James and, after his injury, Thomas on Saturday. Kelly said that Bennett is "one of our hardest working guys" and that "it was good to see what we expect out of our players" in terms of staying prepared in the event of an injury. http://www2.registerguard.com/cms/i...mas-attitude-is-great-his-knee-is-day-to-day/
I understand why Kelly keeps injury reports close to his chest, but when it's something significant like LMJ or Thomas I really wish he would tell us if it's serious.
For sure. It's a brutal form of torture. There's already chatter of Mariota at #2 and increasing his reps this week...so, that part isn't well. Thank our lucky eggs it's the Buffs this week!
