I don't know why but I get the feeling that if any trades go down they won't get done until the last minute...furthermore since pretty much the entire Big Three is on the block rumors are going to surface, then diminish, then resurface right until the deadline passes.

Honestly Im 50/50 if we make a trade...I just get the feeling the Thorn may wait til this offseason hoping maybe Vince raises his trade value or somehow a team gets more desperate this offseason...Imagine Dallas or the Lakers and a first round exit...also the Eastern Conference teams like the Cavaliers have a ton of contracts expiring next year so perhaps something gets done then.

If we wait till the offseason, I'll be pissed. I'll be honest, I'm getting impatient with all these "rumors" and nothing actually happening.

Just make a good trade, please! It shouldn't be that hard...should it?

Yeah being a Nets fan is kind of tough. We go from a great team to a crappy team; from a solid group to trade rumors from Kidd down to Collins. At this point I've internalized the whole notion of blowing this show up that I'm kind of hoping we stay that course.

    We are under 500.

    Our star wants out.

    10000 rumours.

    Nothing happens.

Worst position to be in. Star wants out. GM wants to sell at 90%, while opposition is offering 60%. There aren't that many buyers out there, what a handful. So unless something catastrophic happens to this handful, the opposition won't budge much off their 60% offer. How much more will the team suffer without a move? Thorn's still counting on the playoffs.

When I see Swift I can't help but to think DERRRR.

He's talented, athletic, but may be mentally retarded. Really, when he's not blocking shots or dunking, you can't be sure if he knows he's playing basketball.
