No matter who you support and seriously I hope you treat this thread as a matter of concern whether you're a Red, a Gooner, a Manic or any other denomination.

Page 91 of The Times a paper not given to hyperbole, has an article today headlined "Fans see red as United stars prepare to pocket TV cash"
Some of the quotes in the article are as follows:-(Everything in quotes is from the article)

"Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, are on collision course with the club's supporters as their multimillionaire players are set to enjoy the benefits of the FA Premier League's lucrative new television contract."

"Documents seen by The Times, indicate that the Glazers have budgeted 40 per cent of the increased television revenue to flow "directly to the increased player salaries"

"the Gazers suggested last summer that "in the context of the quality of the Old Trafford experience, tickets have been and are undervalued""

Now this sounds to me like a ticket price rise next season. This could also happen at Anfield or any other club being taken over by businessmen, or any other club needing the bread. Blackburn have slashed their Season Tickets by 25% for a 1mill loss. Will this fill the ground? I hope so!

Why can't other clubs? More money for for overpaid players, some of them not worth it anyway! All this money from TV. When do the fans get any benefit?

    Constructive comments welcome.

Us Fans should get cheaper ticket prices. i'm not sayin reducing it from say 45 pounds to 15 but enough so the average person can go most times in a season
