They have not been able to defend pick and roll for years. Detroit,when most successful is when they run screen roll. Looks like they first look for Hamilton running baseline to elbow for a mid range J. Than if thats covered run pick and roll. When Detroit went away from that,particularly down the stretch,the Lakers came back. I know Prince is a decent defender but I likely would have tried Ham on him down the stretch with such a large lead and nobody else doing anything for Detroit. They had their window and its now closed. Lakers in 6
The Lakers not being able to defend the PG spot is nothing new, and nothing you even posted about was concerning a PG except for the pick and roll. you should have just posted this in one of the other threads, nothing really new here.
