Some think I'm a bleeding heart liberal but I'm pro death penalty and adamant about not romanticizing brutality.....no cute Bonney and Clyde treatment or Charlie Manson fanclub.......when the pygmies in the deep forests encountered horror from a tribal member, they turned his families home away from the village and no one ever mentioned their names again...they became nameless, faceless ghosts even while still living. Collin Turnbull's "The Forest Creatures"...written in the 1950s is one of the great anthropological documentaries ever written....the pygmies stripped away a lot of human bullshit from life.

I am opposed to the death penalty. I don't believe in hell. I do believe in trial by jury and I hope that, if they are guilty as charged, the jury locks them up for what would, unfortunately, probably be a short rest of their lives. Satanic ritual my ass.
