Who will Oregon hire for the new DC? What sleeper recruits have we put on a shelf to keep from being poached and can our current recruits keep from being flipped? Most of our recruits I feel very strong about! I'm glad we are in the Great NW and not SoCal at this time. Mora and Sark have seemingly sharpened their shanks for a very viscous month of recruiting against each other. UCLA under Mora sort of took on this thug like persona this last year, evident with the way they played us. Now throw Sark back down in USC with his cast of assistant coaches and private school loop holes to abuse and this could turn into quite a heated drama! It's LA however and that city is built for DRAMA! On the UW front Peterson was a masterful hire and he can flat out coach. It will be great to see what he can do with more talent over the next few years. Two years and we'll need to be ready to play the Dawgs.....As for Stanford, they graduate a ton of players on both sides of the ball, wonder how much they'll slide next year? Outside of the Pac-12, the Texas hire is head scratcher, Strong is a hell of a coach but a politician he's not. It'll be fun to see how he handles the boosters, fans, and massive Texas accessibility a Horns coach must have! Well on to the dirtiest month in college football, let the games begin!
