I know it's a little early to think about Free Agency but I'm just so pumped up for the offseason. With the whole draft and stuff, I basically overlooked he playoffs and such and such. So who do you think is going to huge in the offseason? I'd like to say Shaun Alexander but I know the Seahawks wouldn't let him go with the season he had. But that is overshadowing others like Reggie Wayne for instance? He led the Colts in recieving this season. Or someone like Daunte Culpepper? Now that Brad Johnson seems to be taking his throne or will they trade Daunte? There are others like Dominick Davis, it's safe to say that the Texans will get Reggie Bush and will have to throw away Davis. Any others?

there are many more free agents and u named like two, Wayne and Alexander. naming Culpepper and even Davis is absurd. Davis just had a huge contract extension and the Vikings will never ever trade Culpepper whoever started that rumor is a complete idiot. Brad Johnson is old and he cant lead the Vikes like Pepper can.

But Culpepper doesn't seem to be the team leader the Vikings need. I'm sure he took that Randy Moss shit okay but the whole Love Boat incident, he lost control of his team, and now the Vikings turned around the team when Brad Johnson was at helm. Well, it's up to the new coach, whoever that is.

If you were in Davis' situation, you would be thinking Davis would want a new team. The Texans seem to be high on Reggie Bush, well, the fans do anyways. I'm sure they might want to see what Reggie can do and Davis might want do have a starting job as well. Money, sooner or later they will give him nothing and let him go/trade/etc... Because later, he will hurt their cap (IDK).

are you kidding the Seahawks may never be able to afford Alexander...and the Texans will most likely get a OT not reggie bush...and i dont think Wayne is going to go anywhere soon...Davis is probably gonna get cut because of injury problems and they might stick with Wells (who i think is better than Davis)...but Martin, Jamal, and Holmes and all done in their respective organizations

The ONLY question about Culpepper is whether or not he can rehab in time. Once he rehabs, he will be the starting QB. Johnson is a dinasour, and Minnesota is his La Brea Tar Pit (thanks to Dan Cole for that one...)

Zygi Wilf that he's going to spend what is takes to win the Superbowl. We can't do that with Brad Johnson. Culpepper is going to stay in MN, and will make a huge push to get Shaun Alexander, Edgerin James, or Jamal Lewis. Just mentioning Paul Allen's name doesn't mean anything. This the NFL which has a cap and not MLB where there is no such thing as a salary cap.

about Dom Davis, he will stay with the Texans and i dont think the Texans will take an O-lineman unless they trade down which is very possible. What people have been saying about Davis is that he is a power back and he'll stay with the Texans because the coach can put in a two back system (Bush and Davis) Bush is doing that now with Lendale White and since Bush and Davis are two very different backs they would complement eachother very nicely. Similar to what Bell and Anderson are doing in Denver as are Ricky W and Brown in Miami. Both teams are doing vey well with it. plus if davis were to go the Texans would have major major cap issues

and about Culpepper, think about it he was an MVP candidate in 2004 he is a great QB, sure u could talk about the cruise thing but as VF said about Johnson hes a dinosaur he isnt better than Culpepper and hes too old. As Culpepper is in his mid 20s and will be a dominant QB for a very long time as he always is after he gets over his major knee surgury.

I don't know why he said Paul Allen, but Paul Allen is the play by play announcer for the Vikings. Pretty big sports personality here in the Twin Cities.

Zygi will spend, and as long as he doesn't turn into a Daniel Snyder, I think we will be ok.

I hope the panthers pick up steve hutchinson. He would give the panthers a great line. Hutchinson is a great run blocker and if the panthers keep deshaun foster they could pontential have a good running game.

Panthers defintly want to keep witherspoon. Him and Dan Morgan are best friends so i dont think witherspoon wants to leave.

Also i think Jamal Lewis could be a good back in our system. Jamal Lewis could be signed at pretty cheap price because of his bad year this year. John Fox wants to run the ball, Deshaun foster is his speed, and John Fox is going to find a bruising back someway this offseason

I'd like to see the Ravens try to bring in Josh McCown or Chris Simms. It doesn't seem to be a good battle but if it will pressure Boller to play his best, I'd guess it's for the good.

The Paul Allen that Hawk is refering to is the owner of the Seahawks and one of the most wealthy men in the world. That's nifty, but Hawk is forgetting one thing. The NFL has a salary cap. It doesn't matter how much money Paul Allen has, if the Seahawks don't have enough salary cap room then they may not be able to afford Shaun Alexander.

Oh sure, if you want to talk about the well known Paul Allen, then go right ahead. I mean, that was obvious - I was just going for the more obscure answer.

.hmmm...time to put on that old dunce cap.

Salary cap. I don't care how rich PA is. You can't tie up too much $ in a small group of players otherwise, you end up in cap hell like the 49ers were a few years ago.

The Paul Allen that Hawk refers to is the Seahawks owner. He made his fortune along side Bill Gates at Microsoft.

Furthermore, Allen's spending has had quite an impact on the Portland Trailblazers who he also owns.
