<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Wizards will be without starting center Etan Thomas through the four-game road trip that begins tomorrow night against the Los Angeles Lakers and wraps up on Friday night against the Phoenix Suns. Thomas, who is averaging 7.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 21.4 minutes, sprained his left ankle in last Saturday's loss to the Houston Rockets, and swelling in the ankle has continued to limit his mobility. Thomas will make the trip with the team and continue rehabilitation work with athletic trainers. "It's a severe ankle sprain," Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan said. "He's going to make the trip but he's not going to play." Brendan Haywood made his second straight start in place of Thomas last night and will continue to start until Thomas comes back. Jordan said he would rotate Calvin Booth and James Lang as backups behind Haywood and also would periodically use a smaller lineup with Antawn Jamison at center.</div> Link Haywood's been dominate replacing Thomas at the starting center position, but during the road trip, he's going to need to stay out of foul trouble and stay healthy with him being a key to our success lately.
